On's Cloud 6 in All Black, the latest version of the shoe that started the Swiss brand, with its row of hollow CloudTec pods along the sole and the elastic speed laces that let it slip on without tying. The sixth version refines the fit and the upper, and the all-black build runs the colour through the mesh, pods and laces, so it is the most discreet Cloud in the range.
It wears light and springy, with the pods giving a soft landing and a firm push-off, and it suits walking, travel, commuting and light running rather than long distances. The black makes it one of the few trainers that works with workwear and dark trousers. We have several UK sizes; the Cloud fits true to size but narrow.
